Code of Conduct
Purpose#
HUNTCON is dedicated to providing a safe, respectful, and inclusive experience for all participants — regardless of gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, nationality, or religion.
This Code of Conduct applies to all attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, and staff throughout the entire event, including conference sessions, round tables, networking activities, and any related social events.
Expected Behavior#
All participants are expected to:
- Treat others with respect, courtesy, and dignity
- Be mindful of their surroundings and fellow participants
- Engage in constructive and professional exchanges
- Respect differing viewpoints and experiences
- Report any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct to the organizing team
Unacceptable Behavior#
The following behaviors are not tolerated:
- Offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, race, ethnicity, nationality, or religion
- Intimidation, stalking, or following
- Unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention
- Disruption of talks, round tables, or other event activities
- Dishonest or fraudulent conduct
- Any form of harassment, whether verbal, physical, or visual
Photography & Video Policy#
HUNTCON values both community sharing and individual privacy. The following rules apply:
- “No Photo” stickers are available at the registration desk. Wearing one means you must not appear in any photo or video. Photographers must respect this at all times.
- Group photos are allowed, provided all visible participants have given informal acknowledgment and no one wearing a “No Photo” sticker appears in the frame.
- Individual photos of other attendees require their informal consent.
- If someone objects to a photo, it must be deleted immediately.
- Publication: Photos and videos taken during the event may be used for internal and external communications (social media, website, newsletters, press). All publications will respect the rules above — individuals wearing “No Photo” stickers will be excluded from any published material.
- Talk recordings: The organization may record conference sessions, focusing on the speaker and slides. Speakers will be informed in advance. Attendees who do not wish to appear on camera should avoid the front rows.
- Private spaces (restrooms, etc.) must never be photographed or filmed.
Enforcement#
Participants asked to stop any unacceptable behavior are expected to comply immediately.
If a participant engages in behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, the organizers may take any action they deem appropriate, including:
- A verbal warning
- Expulsion from the event without notice
- Reporting to law enforcement if applicable
Reporting#
If you experience or witness a violation of this Code of Conduct, please contact the organizing team immediately — in person or via the contact form.
All reports will be handled with discretion.
