About HUNTCON

#

While there are hundreds of renowned cybersecurity conferences worldwide — such as DEF CON, Black Hat, RSA Conference, BruCON, GreHack, and Hack.lu — very few events are dedicated exclusively to Threat Hunting. The few that exist are primarily online and US-based. To our knowledge, there is currently no dedicated Threat Hunting conference in France.

HUNTCON 2027 aims to fill that gap by bringing together threat hunting practitioners, cybersecurity leaders, researchers, and experts from across Europe for a two-day, in-person event. This is a first-of-its-kind conference in France dedicated exclusively to the discipline of Threat Hunting.

The event is designed for up to 110 attendees representing major companies, cybersecurity vendors, consulting firms, and industry experts.

The conference and presentations are all held in English to accommodate attendees from across all Europe. Round tables will all be held in English.

Program

The conference is structured around two complementary days. Attendance is free but registration is mandatory for all participants, whether you are an attendee, a speaker, a round table participant, or an exhibitor. These roles are not exclusive — you can be both a speaker and a round table participant, and exhibitors should also register using the form and select the Exhibitor role. Register here.

Food (buffet) and coffee breaks will be provided throughout the event.

Day 1 — Conference Sessions

#

Keynote presentations, technical talks, case studies, demonstrations, and experience-sharing sessions delivered by threat hunting teams, industry experts, and technology partners. Talks come in two formats: a 30-minute slot (including 5 minutes for Q&A) or a 1-hour slot (including 10 minutes for Q&A). Presentation slides will be published on the website after the event (unless the speaker explicitly requests otherwise). Interested in presenting? Submit a talk.

Each talk block holds either one 1-hour talk or two 30-minute talks. The final lineup and exact timings will be published once the selection board has chosen the talks.

Day 2 — Round Tables

#

Each round table is a 45-minute session led by an animator with prepared questions. During registration, select the round tables you’d like to contribute to. For each topic, 5 candidates will be chosen from the registrants to go on stage and share their experience and insights with the audience. Topics are listed in the Round Table Topics section.

All round tables are held under the Chatham House Rule: participants are free to use the information shared, but may not reveal the identity or affiliation of any speaker or participant. This encourages open and honest discussion. An anonymized summary of each round table will be published on the website after the event.

#

• RER A — Station La Défense (Grande Arche)
  From central Paris, take RER A westbound. The venue is a short walk from the station.

• Metro Line 1 — Station La Défense (Grande Arche)
  Direct connection from central Paris (Châtelet, Champs-Élysées, etc.)

• Tramway T2 — Stop La Défense (Grande Arche) or Faubourg de l’Arche

By Car

From the A14 or A86 motorways, follow signs to La Défense. Paid parking is available at the CNIT and surrounding car parks.

By Train

• Paris Gare Saint-Lazare → La Défense: ~10 minutes via Transilien Line L
• Paris CDG Airport → La Défense: RER B to Châtelet, then RER A (~50 minutes)
• Paris Orly Airport → La Défense: OrlyVal + RER B to Châtelet, then RER A (~60 minutes)

Accommodation

#

We welcome participants from any country. However, since the conference is entirely free, we are unable to cover travel or accommodation costs for anyone — including speakers. All participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements.

The La Défense business district offers numerous hotels within walking distance. We recommend booking early as March is a busy period for conferences.
